Data Deletion Instructions

ReachO (operated by Wan Buffer Services) takes data deletion seriously. You can remove data from your workspace at any time using the dashboard, or request a full account erasure as described below. This page also serves as the official Data Deletion Callback URL for the Meta App Review process.

Self-serve deletion

  • Delete a contact: Dashboard → Contacts → click trash icon. This removes the contact and all associated conversations and messages.
  • Disconnect WhatsApp: Dashboard → WhatsApp → Disconnect. This removes your stored WABA credentials and access token.
  • Delete workspace: Dashboard → Settings → Delete workspace (irreversible).

Request a full erasure

To request that all of your personal data be erased from our systems, including backups, send an email to [email protected] from the email associated with your account, including:

  • Your account email and workspace name
  • The phrase "Data deletion request"

We will confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete erasure within 30 days, in line with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).

What data is deleted and what is kept

When you delete your account or submit a full erasure request, ReachO (operated by Wan Buffer Services) deletes the following data:

  • Your account profile, login credentials and workspace settings
  • Contacts, conversations and message history stored in ReachO
  • Uploaded media (images, documents) stored on our servers
  • Connected WhatsApp Business (WABA) credentials and access tokens
  • Campaign, template and automation data you created

Some data is retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business needs:

  • Billing and invoice records are kept for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.
  • Encrypted backups containing deleted data are fully purged within 30 days.
  • Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

Data sent to Meta / WhatsApp

Messages already delivered through WhatsApp are subject to Meta's own retention and deletion policies and cannot be deleted by ReachO. Refer to the WhatsApp Privacy Policy for details.
